The Sabrina Lovseat's wooden frame features carefully chosen beech and ash wood, which is seasoned for at least 2 years to maximize durability. Heavy duty corner blocks reinforce all corners and load bearing areas for added strength. After construction, a complete encasement ensures long-term integrity. The frame is also padded with one inch of foam before upholstery, providing a firm yet comfortable feel. We use heavy duty 9 gauge, sinuous spring steel for suspension, fastened to the front rail and placed two inches apart. These springs are secured with sturdy clips and reinforced with two solid rods, with a canvas barrier between the foam and steel to prevent wear. Each seat is supported by five steel springs for lasting comfort, and two wooden stretchers run front to back to enhance the frame's strength.
